Symptoms of gastric ulcers are varied including;

  • Intermittent colic
  • Behavioural changes,
  • Poor condition/appetite
  • 'Girthyness'
  • Reluctance under saddle

Accurate diagnosis is important as the treatment required depends on the severity and region (squamous or glandular) affected.
